Essay On Resource Conservation

Natural Resources

Natural Resources are the treasure of the earth. Our earth is blessed with the natural resources for which human are depended on it. Natural resources are raw materials which we get directly from nature. There are different types of the natural resources we get from the sun, air, Minerals, Water, oil, sunlight, coal, natural gas, etc. Here, we are providing an essay on natural resources for giving the importance of those things which we get easily from our nature to students and kids.

What are Natural Resources?

We get some raw materials from the earth these resources are known as natural resources. They can obtain be naturally, a human cannot make the natural resources. Whereas human use and modify this resources in different ways which lead to more usability of the resource. Characteristics of magnetic, gravitational, and electrical properties and forces are applied to natural resources. Human use all these materials for civilisation and development.

Air is naturally available and can be used for the Wind energy by which we can generate the electricity through these resources. It helps to reduce friction in tires and importance of air is for automobiles.

The greenery is one of the natural resources which we get from plants. It is one of the human basic necessities where we can get food and clothing from the plants. We get shelter by wood, wood is also useful for us in different ways. We get fruits and vegetables from the plants. The paper is also made of plants and rubber is also made of trees. Plants make the environment cool and healthy.

The coal is used for the burning. Another use of coal is generating electricity.

Natural gas

The Natural gas is used for the Electricity and heating.

Sun is one of the sources of light. By the sunlight, we get the solar energy which can also use for the many purposes. Plants trap the energy from the sun and make their food during the process of the photosynthesis.

Water is the life which can be used for many purposes. Without water, there is no life. Sources of the water are rivers, ponds, lakes, wells, etc. Water can be stored in the dams and can be used we need it. It is also beneficial for generating hydroelectric energy. One of the natural resources like water can satisfy the different wants of a human. It is useful for drinking, cleaning, bathing, planting, etc. Water is precious and one of the important treasures of nature.

Animals are one kind of natural resource which can be useful for the foods, animals like cow, buffalo and goat gives milk and hence other milk products which had the higher values like cheese, buttermilk. We can obtain bacon from a pig. We get wool sweaters from the Sheep. Some animals are used for making leather products which have the high cost and demand in the market because this product is long lasting.

Oil is used for the generating Electricity. Another use of oil is, it is used as a fuel for the cars and aeroplanes.

Minerals are the chemical compound which we can get in the below earth’s surface. Minerals are also used for the making jewellery which having the high cost. It is good for the business.

The Natural Resources are sorted into the two types that are renewable resources and non-renewable resources.

Renewable resources

The renewable resources are those resources which we can use again and again. The soil, water, sunlight are the best examples of renewable resources. Wood is a renewable resource but it takes a long time to renew because it depends on the life of the trees. Soil takes a lot of years to obtained from stones naturally, it is hard to renew.

Non-renewable resources

The non-renewable resources are those resources which cannot use again and again; we can only use it only once. They do not grow and come back or it takes a very long to renew. For example, one of the non-renewable resources is coal, we can use it only single time after that there is less coal available. This type of resource can be used directly, for example, use of petrol or diesel in the cars. The non-renewable resource cannot be recycled; we have to use it directly. These resources are limited so we have to use it properly.

Demand for the natural resources is totally dependent on the new technology and new economics. Some resources are limited, their availability is less but they are demanded high by the public. These resources are precious metals and having the high value in the market.

The number or the quantity of the natural resources is reducing day by day. The human is becoming cruel and started depleting the nature for his selfish motive. If the sources are depleted, then many problems will be arises. Our further generation has to face many problems because of it. Too much mining leads to reduce the number of minerals, too much fishing leads to reduce the diversity in fish, too much cutting of trees leads to reduce the number of plants and diversity in plants as well as it leads to increase the global warming. This too much of humanity is responsible for the depletion of nature as well as our environment.

For avoiding these problems we have to do something towards our nature. Nature is useful for us in many different ways, so it doesn’t mean that we have to finish it’s all resources. If you want to cut a tree then plant a tree, this will make a balance towards nature.

God blessed us natural resources for satisfying our living requirements or needs. We should respect our nature on which we are totally dependent. Don’t waste paper, don’t waste water, don’t waste electricity and don’t waste wood because they are all part of our natural resources. They are like a treasure for us and we have to save this treasure from the different issues.

conservation of natural resources
Introduction conservation of natural resources, the wise use of the earth’s resources by humanity. The term conservation came into use in the late 19th cent. and referred to the management, mainly for economic reasons, of such valuable natural resources as timber, fish, game, topsoil, pastureland, and minerals, and also to the preservation of forests (see forestry), wildlife (see wildlife refuge), parkland, wilderness, and watershed areas. In recent years the science of ecology has clarified the workings of the biosphere; i.e., the complex interrelationships among humans, other animals, plants, and the physical environment.

At the same time burgeoning population and industry and the ensuing pollution have demonstrated how easily delicately balanced ecological relationships can be disrupted (see air pollution; water pollution; solid waste). Conservation of natural resources is now usually embraced in the broader conception of conserving the earth itself by protecting its capacity for self-renewal. Particularly complex are the problems of nonrenewable resources such as oil and coal (see energy, sources of) and other minerals in great demand. Current thinking also favors the protection of entire ecological regions by the creation of “biosphere reserves.” Examples of such conservation areas include the Great Barrier Reef off Australia and Adirondack State Park in the United States. The importance of reconciling human use and conservation beyond the boundaries of parks has become another important issue.

Water Conservation
We can live without food for three to five days a week, but we cannot stand for living without water for a day. Water is the basis of lives living on earth. But without a proper condition of water, there must be a bad effect on all types of lives as well. As it becoming worse because of the pollution and the climate change, water conservation is the perfect way to improve the quality of water as well as to balance the current and future water needs.

To get through the water conservation, we should know the important, the goal and how we can conserve the water. If you have any questions, I’ll be very happy to answer them at the end of my presentation. Ok, to begin with, let’s have a look on what the important of water conservation. To human, water provides us a huge need for the basic needs as we need fresh water for drinking, to cook thing and to use in things we cook; for example, in the soup, cake, dessert, porridge and so on and we also need freshwater to wash ourselves for being clean and hygiene, to wash clothes for being fresh, to wash dishes for getting away from any kinds of gems, and even to wash our vehicles as needed. Freshwater is used in many ways. We can also use freshwater to improve the sanitation, irrigation, industry and so on.

To animal, freshwater plays a very important role as their fundamental needs including the home for species and for drinking. Not different from the human kind, animal need water to support their buddies to survive. For water species, water is not only a basic home but also a place for them to get food. To the environment, freshwater can create the green which can also help both human and animal living in a good condition, for they will live in a kind of environment without pollution. Also, by growing greenery everywhere, it is a great function to cause the rainfall from the forest. And that really benefit to the living situation. That’s all I have time for the important for water conservation.
